Judy James
Qualtek Manufacturing

Judy James is a HR Director at Qualtek Manufacturing, a family owned contract manufacturer located in Colorado Springs. Judy has been in Human Resources for over 20 years in various roles and industries to include retail, insurance and government contractor. Judy holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management, with emphasis in Human Resources from Colorado Christian University and is a certified HR professional (SHRM-CP) through SHRM and (PHR) through HRCI.

Zak Sloan
Mountain States Employers Council

Zak Sloan grew up in the rural communities of eastern New Mexico. He received his B.S. in Early Childhood Education at Texas Tech University. In 2006, Zak moved from Lubbock, Texas to Aurora, Colorado to teach Fourth Grade at High Point Academy. Zak taught for three years before moving back to his home state of New Mexico to attend law school. Zak received his J.D. from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2012. Upon completion he returned to Denver to represent abused and neglected children as a Guardian ad Litem in dependency and neglect cases. Zak practiced as a Guardian ad Litem for three years before coming to Mountain States Employers Council in October 2015. Zak specializes in anti-harassment training and assisting MSEC members with their legal needs.
