Yemi Mobolade

Yemi collaborates for the health, growth and prosperity of Colorado Springs making his impact through economic development, entrepreneurship, community development, ministry, and leadership development.

In his role as VP, Business Retention and Expansion for the Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC, he works to promote the continued growth of Colorado Springs’ many existing employers, with a focus on primary employers.

Yemi, a Nigerian Immigrant, co-founded the Wild Goose Meeting House and Good Neighbors Meeting House with his business partner Russ Ware, co-founded Niche Coaching and Consulting, and has established a church. He was the minister of City Outreach and Engagement at First Presbyterian Church-Colorado Springs and spent a previous career in quality control manufacturing.

A strong community advocate, Yemi, holds two master’s degrees, is involved with many boards. He currently serves on the Pikes Peak Community College Advisory Council, the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region Board of Directors, Men’s Xchange Board of Directors, Spring Rescue Mission Board of Directors, Thrive! Colorado Springs Board of Directors, and is the Executive Chairperson for COS I Love You/CityServe, an annual churchwide-citywide collaborative movement designed to catalyze churches into long-term community engagement and service.

Yemi is a Colorado Springs Leadership Institute member (Class of 2016), was recognized as one of the Colorado Springs Business Journal’s 2016 Rising Stars, and received the inaugural Colorado Springs 2015 Mayor’s Young Leader Award for Economic Impact. Above all, his greatest achievement is his family. He and his wife Abbey, an ICU nurse, have two kids, one adopted son from Ethiopia and a biological daughter.

 

Deborah Hendrix

Deborah Hendrix is an active community leader and advocate. Since 2001, Hendrix has committed much of her time and energy to community nonprofit and public institutions, particularly those that serve the southeast Colorado Springs neighborhoods that she calls home. She served for eight years as an elected board member of Harrison School District 2, six as board president. She has also been an Adjunct Instructor for the Dale Carnegie Training Program for over 20 years. She is currently Executive Director of Parents Challenge, a 501(c)(3) parental choice organization. They provide financial assistance and parent advocacy sessions for low-income families no matter what their choice in education, private, public, charter or homeschool.

Deborah holds a Bachelor of Science in Consumer Economics from Howard University and did graduate work at Roosevelt University.

Brian Cooper

Brian Cooper is a Colorado native, born and raised.  He graduated from Fort Lewis College, CO with a degree in Business and Marketing.  With varied experience that ranged from sports to finance, Brian’s early work included his love of basketball as a ball boy for the Denver Nuggets for six years in the formative period of his life all the way to consumer finance two years following college.  In 1992, Brian was recruited into the Title industry.  His start with Security Title quickly excelled into a passion for the industry which led to the purchase of Unified Title in 2006.  He started with only one office in downtown Colorado Springs and quickly grew Unified Title LLC to 12 locations statewide.  Brian’s passion for the community that he grew up in extends into his many board appointments that include the HBA, HOA’s, Parent’s Choice, PPAR, Women’s Council of Realtors, to name just a few.  He has also served for Special Kids Special Families, Emily Griffith Center, Chamber of Commerce, Junior Achievement, Young Life, Open Cupboard, 100 Men who care, Catholic Charites, and 4 Kidz Sports.  He considers his family as one of his biggest successes and driving factors for his life of achievements.  That focus influences how he structures his business and helps Unified retain and attract some of the best title personnel in the state.

As president of Unified Title Company, Brian is a full service provider of title insurance, escrow and related products for residential and commercial real estate transactions across Colorado. He prides himself on providing essential tools to real estate professionals, and providing a wealth a resources and knowledge to anyone seeking to become more educated about the world of real estate.
